24 July 2018, New York issues a bill to ban BPA substitution chemicals in children's products. This bill has been submitted to the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation. It will expand existing legislation to ban the sale of bisphenol-containing child care products. The new bill shall take into effect on 31 December, 2019. The draft amendment expands the ban on bisphenol alternatives, including bisphenol AF (BPAF), bisphenol Z (BPZ), bisphenol S (BPS), bisphenol F (BPF), bisphenol AP (BPAP) and bisphenol B (BPB). Studies shows that all these six bisphenol alternatives are mimic estrogen in breast cancer cells, and three of them are more so than BPA itself....
